stefambatros
I am working on dusk scene for a house and i am getting this light leaks problems(see the image).I am using target spot lights to light the scene. When i render only the region with the problem the light leak disappears. Thank you!
Boris Horosavin
What are your indirect lighting setting? I'm asking because that is what obviously caused the problem. For light cache use smaller samples to avoid leaks. Also, If you are using irradiance map try boosting up settings a bit (check if high presets make any difference). Good luck! noamcovo
try to render with both primary and secondary brute force. this way you will be able to know if there is a lighting problem or is it a IR+LC interpolation issue.
stefambatros
This is the result that i got with the increased settings for ir and lc.The light leaks have disappeared but other gi problems have occurred and the result is still inacceptable. I will try to render with brute force and hope for better results

There's a plug in which adds a target to VRay light. http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/vraylight-target At a project of mine, which was a hair saloon i used the exact same spot light model with simple sphere VRay light placed inside the bulb. As it'll be a very small sphere, the intensity should be huge. But it was a nice illumination as i remember. Similiar to your last image but not leaking even a bit.
