Scott Schroeder
Where does Max store the FBX presets? I created a custom Revit import preset that I need to push out to the rest of the team, but I can't find where Autodesk hides these things. Does anyone know where they are or maybe even at lease a file extension so I can search?
Ismael
From Googling: You can save your custom presets in a file that you can share with other users. Consult the table for the location of your saved presets. FBX Version Preset location 2009.4 (and earlier) C:\My Documents\3dsmax\FbxPresets 2010.0 (and later) C:\My Documents\3dsmax\FBX\Presets Preset files have the file extension .fbximportpreset (for import) and .fbxexportpreset (for export), for example, My Preset.fbximportpreset. http://download.autodesk.com/us/fbx/20112/3dsmax/_index.html
Scott Schroeder
Thanks, but that's not it. That is for the FBX plug-in if you were to import an FBX. I'm just now realizing that this is through the Revit Link File function, essentially what should be the same as FBX but apparently not. I should have been clearer in my initial request. I'm looking for where it saves the custom presets for the Revit Link function that is only available in 2013.
