Jason Matthews
Hey Everyone, I recently worked on an animation (not my best work) with moving and static people from axyz. The feedback I received was that there were not enough ethnically diverse people nor were there people in medical attire. Here is my issue. They want to make some corrections to the design and to the people (requested RPCs), however my scene is set up using vray lights and cameras with exposure. I have used Vray + RPCs in the past and have not gotten very good results with the Vray camera. Has anything changed with RPCs or Vray cameras or lights in the last few years? Are there any tips you can give me using RPCs with Vray lights and cameras? Is there a faster way to include the RPCs in the illumination and shadows of each light? I have hundreds of vray lights throughout the scenes, and there are a good amount of them that are not instanced. Thanks in advance,
hockley91
I have problems with the RPC's as well...they just don't blend well with Global Illumination since they are not true 3D geometry. I think you'll just have to render it that way if it's an issue. I do like that Archvision has a vast library. I do prefer AXYZ, but their library is not as vast. Devin Johnston
I'm sorry to say that there haven't been any changes that I'm aware, AXYZ does sell ethnically diverse people have you looked at their libraries lately?
Jason Matthews
Thanks for the replies. Yes I have looked at the latest content that axyz has, but unfortunately there is like only one or two medical people. I need quite a few more than that if possible.
