Invitation to our September 18th Event

Hello all, we have a great topic planned for the September Event. Today we are announcing the next event on Tuesday September 18th, 2012 with Eat-n-Greet at 7pm and the event start at 7:30pm. This September event will be held at the Manhattan Autodesk office space located at 38 West 21st Street on the 9th Floor, New York NY 10011.

 

 

You must RSVP at http://www.nyc3d.org/3dwp/meeting-annoucements/ to attend and if you have not attended one of our events since Feb 2012, you must also fill out our registration survey online prior to arriving. The link for this survey is located on the same page as the link above.

 

Highlights: Discussion Panel "How To Make It In NYC As A 3ds Max Artist"

 

We have brought together 4 talented and successful local 3ds Max veterans from various industries to discuss and answer questions related to working as a 3ds Max artist in the NYC area.

 

Our panel includes:

Anatomical Travelogue : 3ds Max veteran staffer.

Sean MacNintch

Pixelplume : Owner and 3ds Max Artist at Pixelplume

Vance Miller

Freelancer : 3ds Max veteran in Commercials and Broadcast

Caius Wong

Freelancer : 3ds Max veteran in Commercials and Broadcast

 

The night's discussion will cover issues such as:

 

How to find work as a newbie to the industry

What should and should not be on your reel

How veterans can stay relevant in an increasingly crowded playing field

 

The panel will be open to questions from the audience.

 

Keep an Eye Out for Master Class Online Registration

 

Membership's will be taken during the Eat-n-Greet session so come prepared!
