scostumatu
Hi Was just wondering if there is plugin for randomizing textures? For example, if I modeled and textured plank of wood, then duplicated this wood multiple times , is there a plugin to randomize the uv coordinates instead manually doing it? Thx very much S
Corey Beaulieu
Check out the floor generator: http://www.ronenbekerman.com/using-floor-generator-script-by-bertrand-benoit/ or just the material by element modifier: http://designertoday.com/Tutorials/3ds.max/1692/MaterialByElement.Modifier.discreet.3ds.max.Tutorial.aspx With the material by element you would be able to change the UV's but you could use a color correct and the crop tool on the same bitmap many times over to generate a different tones of the same type of would. The cropping would simply vary which part of the map will show, kind of like moving the UV's.
