Missing viewport option text

Er, okay. This is another issue that drives me absolutely crazy. At all times, on at least 2 of my 4 viewports, the option text at the top of the viewports (+ sign, view, wireframe or smooth etc) is utterly and completely missing. Hitting '7' doesn't do a thing. I've just spent a huge amount of time trying to find the answer on the net, and couldn't find a single reference. I'm not even sure WHAT those are even called. They aren't the statistics, of course, but....

 

If anyone knows how to get those back I'd be grateful. The odd thing is that the 2 viewports on the left are missing the options text. At other times, it will be two others. Sometimes only 1 viewport is missing the info. At no point do I ever have all 4 windows showing the option text.

Are you on the latest product update ? What version of Max are you using ?

I remember that the release version of Max 2012 ( with the new nitrous viewport) had some refresh problems, which sounds quite like your problem.

Finally it can as well be a glitch in graphics driver or your OS installation...
