Nic H Posted September 14, 2012 Share Posted September 14, 2012 poly box model it - like tom said - get a real simple cage with the right proportions and a turbosmooth modifier. add edges using ring and loop to iteratively add detail where you need more definition. I've made several furniture models http://www.mr-cad.com ....to make the back you could even try chamfered box and FFD to get something similar but not exact.
