Text extruded then deformed looks weird

Recommended Posts

Since it's an extruded text, what's the best method to subdivide it? Tesselate perhaps?

 

edit: tesselate doesn't work. If to increase the subdivision you meant tweaking the interpolation value I already tried it with no better results.

No, no, no. Apply an Editable Poly modifier, then weld your vertices with a very low treshold (0.001 or so) and then select all your polygons in Polygon subobject mode and click "retriangulate; deselect or go to top level mode and you should be ok.

 

EDIT: Actually you can try skipping the weld vertices part if you want.
