How to check objects in scene for heavy polygons

Hey Martin

Go to the select from scene object dialoge (H hotkey) and select Customize\configure columns from the menu bar. You will then be able to click drag a new column field to the selection panel. There is a faces field in there that is not shown by default. Once you have the faces column added you can click on it to sort the objects in ascending/descending order depending on face count (I have noticed however it does not show how many faces there are within groups so you may need to open them). Your scene may also be sluggish if there are too many individual objects in there and/or you have a lot of spline objects such as inserted CAD plans. Hope this helps

I've noticed something like this many times. I always try to keep all shapes hidden. Do you know if overall performance gets affected by all the CAD lines even if they are hidden? I've been on both sides (normal and slow) but I cannot really tell if the linework is the culprit.

Greetings.
