When I close I get "3ds Max application has stopped working" error

Max is working just fine but whenever I close down I get the "3ds Max application has stopped working" error. It's mostly just a nuisance but I wonder if anyone else has had this issue and solved it?

I get it all the time at home on my copy of Max 2012 but not at work on Design 2012. I only started to get the error after I installed Forest and Rail Clone lite at home. Perhaps that's it? However, I don't get the error if I work in a file I created at home so I stay native to Max. I get the error mostly when I open a file created at work(Max Design) at home(Max). Maybe it's the shift from Max to Max Design?

 

The latest update, #10, for 2012 supposedly helps with the shutdown errors but I haven't had a chance to install it at home.

Hrm...well I don't have Max design, forest rail, or rail clone installed so those may cause the issue but there must be something else causing it for me. I'll look into that latest update.

I get it at least once a day but I don't have any of the plugins Scott listed, I've got update #10 and all it seems to do is slow down Vray.
