matthewgriswold
Ooo, nice riddle. Just spit-balling here... Is it the Loft tool that allows you to select various profiles along a path?
salvador
Yep. Loft does it. Not a modifier but an object type itself. Go to Create - Compound objects - Loft. With your path and your profiles already created.
Peter M. Gruhn
If you mean like the GEB logo (http://www.pci.uni-heidelberg.de/tc/usr/andreasm/raytrace/geboil.jpg) I think the options are "model by hand" or "3 extrudes and some boolean intersects."
