mohamedberry
anyone have a link to a free website that offers backgrounds for architectural exterior renderings ?
IC
It's a bit misleading to have this thread rated. I thought you had posted links yourself. Try Internet searches or just taking digital photos.
STRAT
i was thinking that. i'll email jeff about the thread rating. mohamed's last 2 threads are 5 star rated and for what? the system isnt working.
mohamedberry
guys.... its not my fault that your rating system allows any one even the one who posted to rate his own message !!! i do rate my posts to have quick replies !! thats it, conceder me a tester who fuond a bug in your system
IC
You can tell you rated it yourself because there are no replies listed. As I said I thought you were rating links you had posted.
JHalton
Getting back onto the subject. I know what you mean. Theres ways to do perpectives and cameras and trees, but I have never in my years seen a tutorial on good backgrounds. e.g The gaps around your buildings showing the horizon. I see some fantastic ones and some poor ones. Possible it is down to time and effort rather than an 'tutorialised' solution. Is 'tutorialised' a word?? G.Bush, eat your heart out. mohamedberry
JHalton... yes that what i want, any way to improve my exterior inviroment for the scene i am rendering... tried many ways before (like the dome) but still not that good, i think i'll have to use a 3d model for the inviroment for more realism. Juan Altieri
in altavista search engine you can filter to search only hi-res pictures, this can help you, because the most of the pictures on internet are low res...
