Michael J. Brown
In AutoCAD, you can 'Bind' a .dwg so that xrefs and whatnot go along with it when handing the drawing off to a third party. Is there a way to similarly 'Bind' a 3dsMax file so that all material maps, proxy .vrmesh files, IES light files, etc., 'go along with' the file (or at the very least, get thrown into a single, automatically generated file folder) for sharing with a third party? Thanks.
Stephen Thomas
Under the file save options you can choose archive, which zips everything up into one file. Or look into the resource collector under utilities. Can't remember if either includes xrefs or not.
Michael J. Brown
Fantastic. Thanks, Stephen. Can't believe (in my 14+ years of 3dsMaxing) I never knew about something so simple.
