I have laptop Dell Inspiron n5110 its screen is LCD not TFT I am very confused about viewing angle that's the way some final images not produce in good contrast , colors .etc. Have you any idea about viewing angle of laptop screens.? Dimitris Tolios Posted October 9, 2012 Share Posted October 9, 2012 You screen is TFT, and all TFTs are LCDs...TFT (Thin film transistor) is a variant of LCD technology, not something independent to it. As Abhay wrote above, the usually laptop screens have a small optimal viewing angle, with a sweat spot for your light of sight directly at or slightly above the center of the screen.
