ryangroves
Studio/Institution: Ryan Groves, 3D artistClient: freelance projectGenre: OtherSoftware: 3ds max, vray, photoshopDescription: Hi guys, I have been learning 3ds max and vray for around 5 months, and am currently a junior 3d artist for a UK studio. This visual is something I have put together in my spare time, a freelance project for a friend. The intention of the image is to portray the dusky aftermath of rainy weather as we enter autuumn months, with inviting warm interior lighting. Any comments/critique to improve realism would be extremely welcome and appreciated as I am always striving to improve and learn as much as possible! Thanks, Ryan
salvador
Very good overall; It is obvious that you put a lot of effort into it. However I find it a little bit dark, even for a dusk. Congrats !
nachoangulo
1.- What's wrong with that door's reflection? 2.- Stone walls need some bump! 3.- The repetitive texture of the roof's side is a bit... you know. But overall it's very good!
ryangroves
Thanks for taking the time to reply guys, much appreciated! I'll definately take everything on board. That door reflection is a mystery to me it is the same texture as the rest of the glazing I can only think theres an issue with the geometry..i'll look into it. Can't believe I never noticed the repetitive roof texture thanks for the heads up, fresh eyes help! Cheers.
coloredfloorplans
Really great image. I like the mood alot but a bit to dark. I agree with the other comments and would like to add that maybe you could work a bit on the rain effect. Now it's only on the floor. How about making the walls wet on places that they rain could have reached and keep the parts like on the left that got some cover dry. But overall a great result so far. bilderbaurendering
Hi Ryan, very nice water reflection! i think its time for postproduction ( as mentioned before ). The grass in foreground makes it a bit unclear so i would put there some more lively one in photoshop.. good work and send us the progress
