Stephen Thomas
Yeah, i recognise a lot in there too. Bit of a giveaway the fact that there are no project details associated with any of the images. Also the rogue's gallery of stock photos that make up the "dream team" is ridiculous. Edit: A lot of which seem to be taken from this flickr photostream and include several 3d artists from Disney it would appear! Arnold Sher
wow, they even put one of MIR images... they must be really not bright and i see they even used one South African firm "Burn Studio" images. Nicholas is on this forum and i am sure he won't be happy
eagle_ear
dunno, the website is fraught with typos, man. The name of the company was even spelled two different ways under the, 'Code of Ethics'... and the addresses seem bogus too... funny
Corey Beaulieu
I like how everything is poorly framed because they had to crop out other companies logos. And the Animations don't seem to play, at least not for me. What are they going to do if they get hired?
Stephen Thomas
While I agree it is very annoying to see your images being used in this way, I would like to think that no client worth their salt would take a website like this seriously. Stephen Thomas
Sent a tweet to Disney Animations twitter account about the fraudulent use of their top animators' profile pics. Let's see if their lawyers do anything about it.

heni30
Like so many people have stated here, the image quality is 2nd in importance to service. There's really no way to prevent this image theft as long as there's a print screen button on the keyboard. So the communication is going to laughable if they approach it the way they do their website and they won't get paid until the client approves the final which is going to be a big problem for them if the quality doesn't match their portfolio pieces. maxgooday
Unreal - someone should ring them up and question them about their images. Get them in a flap!
Jeff Mottle
Hey look I found a few of their "dream team". I guess they must all be moonlighting. (http://www.visioco.com/dream_team.php) Textures and Animation: http://creditcardsfinder.ca/2009/10 Developer: http://www.gettyimages.ca/detail/photo/office-worker-on-the-telephone-royalty-free-image/56518812?Language=en-US Their USA email does not work, but their 1800 does. I left a nice message for them and will be passing this link around to the people who's images I know have been ripped off.

Hey Neil, thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention. Piracy is a big problem in our industry. This has unfortunately happened to us many times, but never to this magnitude. I counted about 40 renderings and 2 animations from SPINE. I assume everything on the site is stolen. I checked to see who owns the domain, but the info is hidden. I will contact them directly and politely ask that they remove all our copyrighted work immediately. The odds are that they will comply. If not, we can take some legal steps. We can even have their site taken down by going through certain legal channels. It just might take some time. So far, the best medicine for this type of problem is to what you did. Watch each others back by bringing out the offenders into the open. For this I thank you very much! Best Regards, Eddie

antonyhamid
I think this may be a fraud scheme. It is very sad to see your works stolen and used in this way. I posted this problem with http://www.visioco.com/, 4-5 hours ago in CGarchitect homepage but I do not know why has been deleted!

I posted this problem with http://www.visioco.com/, 4-5 hours ago in CGarchitect homepage but I do not know why has been deleted! The forums are the best place for this sort of thing. Not the homepage. I've also hit all of our social media channels, so I don't think this site or company will be around for long. Lots of people coming forward to indicate their work has been stolen. Shaun Hamm
from their FAQ: Can I use the image files anyway I want? You have unrestricted use of the images that we create for you. We ask as a courtesy that if the images are used in any sort of publication that we receive credit as the creator. Just find that part ironic, lol
