marcell86
Hello dear community, I have a problem with my glass and tiles materials. *Glass is too reflective (notice bricks reflecting in glass panels). *Tiles are too reflective also Glass settings: IOR 1,6 / Refl color: 220 / Refr color: 180 Tiles settings: IOR 3,0 / Refl color: 50 I will be very thankful for your advice. Best regards, M. Edited October 18, 2012 by marcell86
Corey Beaulieu
I think the glass looks fine, but if you just raise the Refraction value to 225 or so, it will seem less reflective. The real issue is that IOR/Fresnel is all about the glancing angle and your glancing pretty sharply of the railing glass. As to the Tile. Try unlocking and lowering the H.Glossiness of the material. Try 0.7 or 0.6 even. It won't be less reflective, but it will blur the reflections more so that they Are less glossy/wet looking.
Corey Beaulieu
One other thought. Definitely make the glass more refractive and use fog color if you want that edge color you see on nice quality glass.
