scostumatu
Hi all small issue thats driving me crazy and i know theres a simple solution but i just cant get it. When i add a vray physical camera, i obviously use the left mouse to drag and loog around the room (ie the 'walk through mode') - HOWEVER, at times it seems to lock and not allow me to look up or down. Looking left and right is fine, it just locks up and down! Driving me crazy Any help would be appreciated. Thanks S
cg_Butler
Hello. Are you looking through the camera when using walkthrough mode?

Corey Beaulieu
I have no answer for you, just writing to say that this happens to me as well. Annoying indeed, but usually goes away on a restarting of max.
scostumatu
Hi guys - finally found the solution and youll kick yourself once i tell you... Its..... space bar for whatever reason it locks without any visual indication that its actually locked! have fun
cg_Butler
That's weird. Space bar usually locks the selection so you can't select anything else. It shouldn't stop the camera being moved. It must do in walk through mode though if you've experienced it. I will try that out at work today. Thanks for the info! EDIT: I have tested this and it doesn't do the same thing for me...........it sounds like you've got an option in your max properties selected or something. Keyboard short cuts don't replicate the problem either. Edited October 25, 2012 by cg_Butler
