AgentPatrick
Hey guys, I had an intern stop me today and ask me about this and I have never run across this problem before / seen it. It's always just worked for me and no matter what I thought to try nothing worked....Here's the problem... He is running test renders in 3ds Max with VRay 2.2. In the render setup dialog box he has set the resolution to 800x600. When he hits render, the dialog box that shows progess (I call it the green bar box) says the resolution is also 800x600. However in the VFB, at the top it says "rendering 100% of 640x480", and when saved the final image is also 640x480. I have tried a bunch of different things and just find it odd that these numbers consistenty do not match up. Oh and let me add that no matter what I change the resolution to, the VFB and final output are ALWAYS 640x480. And I can assure you that no locks are on. Anyone have any idea what is going on? Josef Wienerroither
Demo Version is locked to 640x480 AFAIK... So i guess either a demo version is installed, but that should show a watermark, if not .... a badly cracked demo version maybe ?
Umesh Raut
if not the above........... then it could just be the VFB resolution set to that and 'get resolution from max' unchecked.
AgentPatrick
Thank you all! I actually feel really dumb about this! As soon as I posted yesterday I realized it was the "get resolution from Max" box that was unchecked.
