Jonathan
A project requires a flythrough of a static image. Using standard camera mapping (WSM Modifiers) and fairly simple geometry I was able to create this short animation: The goal however is to allow for greater movement within the image (to see below hilltops) requiring Photoshop painting/cloning of imagery which does not exist. How can I maintain existing maps/alphas whilst unwrapping or RTT for additional textures. This is turing into a real headache, any ideas would be appreciated. Lehm_2000
RTT is definitely the way to with this in my opinion. Maintaining the existing uvs is just a matter of setting the unwrap modifier to a different channel. Then in the RTT dialog set the mapping coords to the unwrapped uv channel. Then when you render you should get a new map with the old maps using the old coords rendered into the new uv coords. I'm going from memory here as I'm not at my workstation to check, but its something along those lines.
