VRay RT white screen

I'm having a little trouble with RT, sometimes it works, more often than not I get a white screen, such as the one on the attached image.

 

I know probably the best place to ask for assistance regarding this is on the chaos forums but for some reason my account wont give me permission to post new threads on there. So until I can get more detailed assistance from Chaos group directly has anyone any ideas.

 

Sometimes refreshing the 'Open CL devices' works but on this scene, I'm just not getting anywhere. I have no idea whether my RT is working in GPU mode or CPU, or how to switch them either.
