COLNAGOBOY
Does anyone know if there are any max plugins or scripts which allow distribution of the multiple objects on a terrain surface in one shot, like Sketchup's Drop script? Thanks in advance

Scott Schroeder
+1 for Forest Pro, Forest Light can only do flat objects and limits you to only 3 objects you can scatter, which may not work well for terrain. If you don't want to spend any money, you can paint them on your terrain with advanced painter in max. You could also achieve this with a particle system. There are quite a few ways to achieve this with the tools inside max.
Crazy Homeless Guy
Does anyone know if there are any max plugins or scripts which allow distribution of the multiple objects on a terrain surface in one shot, like Sketchup's Drop script? Thanks in advance If you simply want to drop objects to the ground that are already scattered/distibuted then I would use Soulburn's ObjectDropper script. Ricardo Eloy
If you simply want to drop objects to the ground that are already scattered/distibuted then I would use Soulburn's ObjectDropper script. Neil's website is currently offline (at least the scripting part).
Scott Schroeder
Neil's website is currently offline (at least the scripting part). Is it? This link works for me: http://www.neilblevins.com/cg_tools/soulburnscripts/soulburnscripts.htm Maybe he moved it around? But, yeah, the object dropper script is pretty fantastic as wel.
