Introduction

Hey guys and gals!

I am a first year architecture student in Stockholm, Sweden, and I am here looking to gain wisdoms and party-tricks to help hone my skills for actual employment somewhere in the distant future. As a pretty old first year student (Im 36), Ive got a bit of experience in a lot of things; Ive been working with IT for a bunch of years, studied abroad for a bit, worked on oilrigs as a welder for another bunch... in short: diversity and weird stuff, but lacking in depth perhaps.

I live with my wife and our dog in Stockholm, which is out of necessity for school: Id rather live at some creek where I could sit in my studio and work, and then grab a few hours of fishing or hiking when the steam runs out. In time it will happen... :-)

Im not sure I will be an avid poster here, but I have been lurking for some time, marvelling at the insane renders that pop up in my mailbox every week. Hopefully I can contribute a bit as well, if nothing else just ask me about metal warping and heat....
