Ernest Burden III
Datacad has adopted a plug-in viewer caled o2c. It is used as an object viewer within the program, and as a web viewing app. The site has some o2c objects as I recall there are some decent exercize models. The o2c objects are very similar to 3ds format. If you see any that you want you can either find out if the plugin allows 'saving as' to make them proper 3ds files, or ask me to convert them through Datacad. I also have some models I built to render a gym many years ago--pretty good stuff, though not normal optomized. I would share if you need.
Ernest Burden III
Let me know...I checked, and I have the o2c gym equipment already DL'ed on my HD. These are the ones I had built, very low poly: but again, the normals are all over the place.

BTW, here are the o2c objects--remember folks, these are free downloads if you have a program to use them: These models are much better than mine, but of course much higher poly counts.
