VRAY DR Crashes Max on Save File

Hopefully someone has experienced something similar, or can suggest how to troubleshoot...

I have a workstation and two render nodes. When I select "Save File" from the Render Output menu under the Common tab and then attempt to use VRAY DR, Max crashes. Sometimes right away, sometimes it renders a few buckets.

- VRAY DR works perfectly fine if I do not check Save File beforehand. I can then manually save all the render passes from the VFB.

- Save File works perfectly fine if I do not use VRAY DR.

- I have previously used both together, but it's been about three weeks since I needed to use the nodes.

- This happens with Max 2012 and 2013.

- Backburner works fine.

- In the Save File dialogue I do specify a shared folder that all computers have access to.

Any thoughts? Not exactly sure where to go from here. Haven't found much on the Google.

Ok, good suggestions. 3ds Max is up to date on all machines. Did that after the feedback report prompted me to update. The problem still continued.

Just tried a bunch of different files, and two of them did NOT crash. They were both created in Max 2012 and have never been worked on with a different computer. However, a third file with the same situation did crash. I am using the student versions (maybe should have said that upfront), so sometimes I'll take a file to school then bring it home. Could definitely be something with switching from the individual to the institutional versions, but I just created a brand new scene in 2013 and it experienced the same crash.
