Patric Verstraete
Studio/Institution: Vizcon3dClient: personal workGenre: Residential ExteriorSoftware: 3d Max 2013, Vray 2.30Website: http://www.vizcon.beDescription: Belgian Govaert & Vanhoutte Architects' project Villa Roces in Bruges (Belgium) was awarded as the “Leaf Award 2012” Residential Building of the Year (single occupancy)". I was so overwelmed by this minimal design residence that I decided to model this house in 3d. The only remark I can give, is the interior, so I will try to give this a personal touch. feel free to comment, thanks!!
Chris MacDonald
Really like what you've got so far, the only thing letting it down as far as I can see is the soil/gravel texture, which could use some displacement and the leaves on the plants which all look a bit too plastic. Interiors look excellent.
Janwalli
very nice, like the lighting, shading and architecture. PLants are nice too.
xEndlessxUrbiax
I love the polished concrete floor. Beautiful. And you should definitely fix that soil/gravel texture on the first image as pointed out by Chris.
Patric Verstraete
Thank you guys, really appreciate your comments, am aware of that soil/gravel texture -)), I was just focusing on the lighting and other shading. sergiocaparelli
Amazing work! Those renders look great, even if some of the images look a bit too blurry for my taste. The lighting and vegetation on that last exterior shot are superb. Did you use a plugin for the grass? I spent 2 days in Bruges just a few months ago, a beautiful place, too bad i missed that house. cheers from Argentina!
Patric Verstraete
Hi Sergio, first of all thanks for the reply!! About the blurry, well that's just what I like in the images, it gives them a soft mood light. For all the vegetation I always use the marvelous plugin Forest Pack Pro,I could really a recommend that plugin!! The house is situated in the neighborhood of Bruges, i will visit the house during the xmas holidays!! greetings from Belgium! Patric
