komyali
Go to assign render and assign to production (not active shade) vray RT 2.1 after that in vray RT tab Engine change CPU in Open cl, in max 2013 and vray 2.3 have cuda, but I dont have that yet, problem is when I render with cpu RT I can change irradiance , light cache and enviroment and other, but with open cl (gpu) can't? any solution ? Vray RT GPU, just like most GPU renderers I know of are unbiased, i.e. they don't do pre-calculation passes - what light cache, irradiance map etc are, subdividing the image and "cheating" through interpolation. GPU renderers "brute force" the light calculation, going for the set number of light rays and bounces for each and every pixel.
komyali
Yes I see but why they then left tabs to be open and you can turn them On, I am sure in future we will use more GPU than CPU, best way would be use them together, just hoping that 2013 vray rt have more options in gpu tabs
