What format to use when saving stereoscopic animation, I can save in jpeg or other picture format and later create animation from pictures in AE, but I am not good with animation formats transitions compresses and other animation stuff, can I save stereoscopic animation as a some movie file. Using panasonic GT30 3d television for preview :)

Read & search more about stereo on google.Vray does not give compiled output in stereo.I suggest you to save left and right separately in uncompressed formats like png or tga.One should not save output in jpeg because it is compressed format.

You need to have your kit ready to edit & compile stereo video in AE.Panasonic GT30 is based on active 3d technology. You need to buy a kit like one that nvidia offers which is also based on active tech (monitor+graphic card+active 3d glasses). You may also need a plugin which can work with AE to composite or to see output in stereo while editing your video.

I suggest you to try first by making some anaglyph content if you've never touched stereo subject before.

Hope this helps.

Nice!

Sorry if you find it sarcastic...:) But I really wanted you to check some theoretical information over the internet not the vray part.

I'd worked on some projects for the studio where i used to work but those were all anaglyph stereo(red-cyan).It wasn't that hard, but then one client asked for the real thing which can be played on 3d tv which required new hardware and plugins which we never bought as the project never started...:).So, even i don't know much of the compositing stuff.I just know little bit theory.

tnx for your reply, my bigest problem is in witch format to save, and later to create movie :) 3D plasma tv is almoust same as 3d monitor, I have active glasses and it look realistic too, I will lisen to you save as png or tga and later try to create animation :)
