VRay matte reflections without shadows

Hi!

I´m having some issues, please help. I´ve a scene of one single object where i want a matte reflection without shadows, what to do?

 

i cant get the matte reflection to work without shadows, maby it´s impossible, i dont know

Do you just want an in image of the reflections on the object?

I want the reflection in a separate pass and the object the same way, but i can only manage to do that if i leave the shadow check box be.

If you add in a VrayRAWReflection element and save that then you will have what you need. If I understand you correctly.

 

Have a look at these examples Render Elements. Is the Reflection only the sort of this you are after?

You need to use the VrayDirt Map. It's a lengthy process to describe, but ths link seems to sum it up well:
