Any ideas to make it look more realistic? I'm not really satisfied with my work. Thanks! Software 3DS MAX 2013 VRAY
aaronmolina
Here's a few tips: 1 it doesn't look like there are any reflection maps on the floors. 2 that rug looks a little too thick 3 the correct lighting will add to the realism 4 this is my personal oppinion , but the sofa looks a little too thin to be that round, or just add sharper edges o the sides. Sofas are usually flatter on the sides. 5 also for aesthetic purposes, the sofa probably shouldn,'t be the exact same color as the walls. 6 and it's kinda hard to tell what's going on at the top of the steps. You have a good start. After you get your raw render, you should look at different post production techniques. salvador
check your white balance. Walls look yellowish from here. Also, seems like there is a single light source. Try some more contrasting light sources from the exterior to the interior.
Keen098
Thanks for the answers! I fix some of the suggested points, the result is much more better! I will post tomorrow the new render, hope to get again some good suggestions.
avaross
This might be too simple/stupid a suggestion, but what about adding some wall art? That will definitely make it look more realistic. Otherwise, very nice job. I'm impressed.
