3D Toy Train Set Model

Hey guys,

I am looking for a 3D toy train set and track that I can use in an animation. I will be about 15 feet away from it so it does not have to be of high quality. I checked TurboSquid but nothing caught my eye. I need the model to be 3D max compatible, Vray preferable. Does anyone have any links that they can share with me? I am not looking for a free model per se but cheaper is better for this one.

Thanks,

I have several trains. I have new cargo type engines, older steam engines, new super-bullet trains, trollys, airport type transports.

As for a track, I may have some straight sections & curves that you can peice together to form a track, however drawing a "section" or profile and extruding along the path you want the train to follow should not be hard at all, you can adjust the steps to make the timbers and the mapping will follow the path and convert to poly & delete everyother timber and you should have a nice looking toy set.

Message me your email & we can go from there.

Hi. I like 3D modeling and I also have to deal with almost the same problems like you did. And I really understand you. So, once I have been sitting in google for about 6 hours to find something and in one site I found what I need. It costs but maybe you can found what you need too. There is some of 3D train models. Btw could you share with us your work when it will be done ?:)

via Google Warehouse.

.SKP files can be imported, complete with textures, into Max via the File->Import->Import Non-native dialogue box.
