I could get a How-To book and rewire my house but I won't. You know why? Because there are guys out there with thousands of hours of experience that can get it done right fast and professionally.

 

Use SketchUp for your concept stuff and then hire out to a viz artist for the HQ marketing stuff. Pass the expense on to your client and you just saved a ton of cash not having to invest in software or training with Max. I would put my efforts into training folks in the office how to use Revit and create detailed families. In the long run, that will be worth more because in next couple of years, VRay and Maxwell will be inside of Revit.
