danb4026
Is there a way of getting rid of this warning I am getting? "The MassFX authored in this file was created with a newer version of the plugins. Forward compatibility is not supported, so things might not behave properly". I am not sure what this warning is for, but it wont go away. Thx
Scott Schroeder
I got it too. Make sure your versions of Max are up to date if you are going from different PCs. I recently formatted my PC to clean the crap out, I got this warning, then realized I hadn't updated Max with all of the packs/hotfixes. I got everything all updated and the error went away. Corey Beaulieu
I got this message with 2012 as well only that it was telling me it was from an older version of Mass FX. I never switched machines or versions of max. In my case hit "no" and go about your day was the answer. Hitting 'yes" meant a crash. This clearly isn't an answer, just a "your not alone" story. danb4026
Thanks guys. You know, I reinstalled 2013 fowler whatever Reason and got the message. I installed Update 6 from autodesk Website and that didn't help. I assumed the the newest updat (6), would include All previous hotfixes. Anyway, I referred MAX back to a MAXSTART.max file from before The reinstall, and now the message is gone.
