davidcraig Posted January 6, 2013 Share Posted January 6, 2013 Hello all, I am facing a very annoying problem on rendering v-ray scene where there are visible black lines appearing around geometry as the picture shows : The scene setup is a simple room with V-ray physical cam and four v-ray lightslighting the walls. The light at the very top of the roof though (where the black lines are) is an object with VrayLightMtl applied to it . Reducing the color multiplier of the VrayLightMtl did help to a great extent in removing the black lines as the picture shows below: However, the desired light fall-off below the roof could not be achieved when reducing the multiplier. I also tried increasing or decreasing v-ray render quality but the result was the same. How can I remove the annoying black lines while preserving light fall-off from underneath the roof. Thank you. davidcraig Posted January 6, 2013 Author Share Posted January 6, 2013 Thanks Chris. That worked out very nicely and theh black lines have disappeared. But there is a little problem at the same place. As the picture shows, there are green pixels in the same place at the edges the vraylightmtl and it does not look as clean as it should be. How can I fix this problem?
