shwetajaiswal Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 i made a interior night scene in 3ds max.In this scene a window which is made from frosted glass. this is light source in scene.How can i create that which make my scene perfect and give me some suggestion of basic vray lighting of interior and exterior . Corey Beaulieu Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 It is not really clear what you are asking for entirely, but for night interiors I would say that you should use a vray dome light with a midnight blue color for your ambient lighting and then just a general spot light for the rest. IES or something else can work instead of the spot, but its all up to you. The spot lights render pretty quickly. The only other advice is that the interior light should have an orange tint at night and I wouldn't use too many more than the built environment has- I mean if the real room would only have 2 lights, then you should be able to get it done with 2 light is Max.
