Justin Hunt
Sometimes some of the geometry becomes corrupted and scrambles the geometry into an absolute mess. At first I thought it was the actual geometry being messed up so I'd delete and recreate it. I have since discovered that it is just the display that is corrupted as it renders fine. Also if I go into sub-object mode the verticies are where they should be. Interestingly once I exit sub-object mode the object is now correctly displayed. I have the latest PU6 installed and my graphics drivers are up to date. I am using Nitrous with a Quadro FX 1800 graphics card. Anyone else come across this??? Scott Schroeder
I get a similar thing every so often when switching back and forth from wireframe to realistic in Nitrous. A quick restart solves it but it's a pain in the ass. Does yours go away after a restart? If so, it's probably a bug in nitrous.
Justin Hunt
Up until today a restart wouldn't solve the issue. I only discovered the sub-object trick today
salvador
Direct 3D? It's a shame to stick to the old stuff when there's new things around, but what the heck, if it works. . .
Scott Dombrowski
I've had the same thing happen a few times too. I think a system reboot was required to clear it up. Max Design 2013 x64, PU6, Quadro FX 4800 on Windows 7.
Paul Twyman
Yeah, I have had this a couple of times too. On big scenes it can be hard to find the responsible object. I think I just merged the object from a previous version which solved it. Will defintely try the sub-object trick first next time though.
