Vray scene convertor

I have massive Sketchup file and imported it into Max and vray.

I am trying to get it converted to Vray, with convert scene to Vray materials ect.

 

But it taking forever.

 

Is it necessary to do this for it to render correctly?

Or is it a case of going into each material and converting it

You want all your materials to be Vray so a conversion is necessary whichever way you do it. There are scripts out there and I do believe the latest VRay also has a scene converter.

Thank you , Ya I found it and I have the latest version of Vray.

Just takes about 20mins with a massive model. no other way round it I think, will have to sit and wait.

I have had kidney stones less hassle thank this model...........revit to sketchup to max.

as we say here in Ireland..."arse ways about face" process.
