Jonathan
Is there anything similar to MR's 'round corners' material feature but as a standard material? This could be very useful to baked MR or VRay GI models rendered very quickly by the Scanline renderer.

There is: f-Edge from DDAG ( arround €30 ), trial version downloadable http://www.ddag.org/products.html
Chris MacDonald
I don't wish to sidetrack your thread, but just out of curiosity more than anything; why do people still use Standard materials?
Jonathan
@Chris. Typically for mid to background models. Bake down lighting from MR or VRay (including HDRi) onto a texture (standard material) typically for very fast animation rendering or realtime production. Why calculate each frame with static objects and no lighting change?£$
