hi to all, having 2 system side by side, I was testing the rendering speed of the two system.

 

1 p4 2.8c w ht

elsa gladiac nvidia ti4200 4x agp video card ( driver 61.77)

sata 60 gb hdd

MSI neo 875p neo mtherboard

1 gb ddr 400 pc 2700 ram

 

 

2 amd 2600+ ( 1.9 GHz)

albatron ti4280 8x agp video card ( driver 61.77)

ide 30gb hdd

abit nf7 motherboard

1 gb ddr 400 pc 2700 ram

 

a scene was test out on a project and a single frame was render out

 

amd 2600+ = 1.59 min

p4 2.8 wo ht = 2.13 min

p4 2.8 w ht = 2.56 min

 

Is amd simply a better one in general?? and isn't w ht enabled, hte rendering speed should improved? Please share your thoughts on this
