rhlkvr15
good Evening Forum, I have a scene with building and lots of vegetation around it......and i want to render a walk-through of it..... anyone here know how to add AO (in indirect illumination tab - VRay) for only the building. I want to exclude the trees from AO. I Dont want to render AO in separate pass and use in postproduction.... Thank You.....
Andres del Castillo
Hi, Rahul I recommend you Vray dirt http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/150SP1/vraydirt_params.htm Good luck
Scott Schroeder
Use the Vray Dirt map combined with a Vray Comp texture (or RGB Multiply) on the materials for your building only. You'd take the dirt and multiply that onto your, for example, brick texture. Though really this is beyond better done in post. There is never a case that I can think of that you'd want to bake in your AO.
