supaslims
I was wandering if anyone had information on the issue of copyright whenever we use a painting by an artist on the walls in our interior renders? I've noticed a few renders in here using works by well known contemporary artists (Luciano Fontana & Gerhard Richter off the top of my head) I guess many of these images come from poster sites and im curious as to if these images belong to the respective site or the artist themselves? dwright
The actual painting may be public domain but the actual photograph of the painting may be copyrighted
Paul Griger
I’ve found some nice photography/art that I DL from PhotoSig. http://www3.photosig.com/go/main there is some nude photography here also, so don’t click on this if you don’t want your work mates to see you browsing this type of thing. If I see something I want to use I’ll contact the artist for permission to use the photo. I've found that everyone that I can get a hold of is generally flattered that I would want to use their work in my rendering. This fellow actually used a smaller pic of my rendering on his page to demonstrate how his art would “look” if you purchased it and hung it in your home. http://www.beatusille.net/main.htm best, paul
