Help with forest pack rocks and ivy generation

Hi Guys,

 

One of the pieces I am currently working on involves a large amount of rocks/pebbles that I have scattered using forest pack. I would like to use ivy generator or something similar just to get some vines running through the rocks, dead weeds etc. Just wondering if this is even possible to do/combine with forest pack geometry a or if there is any way around this?!

 

Any help or pointers would be much appreciated!

you can use growivy. if you isolate the objects you want the ivy to grow before you place the "gwivy" object you should get what you want.

along the lines that William is talking about, the ivy likely wont grow on a forest object. If you preview the FPP as a meshes at 100% you can use the snapshot tool to get a true mesh for the ivy to grow on.

Well, I guess it shouldn't be a problem if you can export the geometry created in that software. Ivy gen supports triangle faces only, I read once, so take care of that part.

Thanks a lot guys, think that will work have only recently found out you can get the actual mesh out! Will give that a go in the next couple of days when I can get back around to it.
