sky
I've imported a bunch of 3d forms from Rhino and want them to appear clean in autocad. Wireframe looks great but hiddenline is full of small triangles. Is there any way to get the triangles to disappear in Hiddenline so that I can get a nice axon? I want it to look like the one on the left, but it looks like the one on the right
SEANT
One option in Autocad may be to toggle Tools/Options/Display/Display Performance/Show Silhouettes in wireframe (Or change the system variable DISPSILH to 1). Sean
sky
thanks for the advice but it didn't seem to make a difference
SEANT
Another note I should add; The object must be a valid 3D solid for the DISPSILH variable to have any effect. This means the part should be exported from Rhino using ACIS feature. DXF or DWG export converts the Rhino solid to a mesh, which does not clean up with the method described. Hope that helps, Sean
