What I am looking for is something similar to PLUS95 when win95 came out... It would allow you schedule defrag and check the HD for errors and also run your antivirus... Jeff Mottle Posted October 4, 2004 Share Posted October 4, 2004 You need the full version of Diskeeper to do scheduled defrags and Set and Forget degragging. I'm pretty sure that almost all the consumer grade AV products offer scheduling, or at least they used to. If not then you might have to look into their small business editions. xgarcia Posted October 4, 2004 Share Posted October 4, 2004 We're using McAfee Enterprise 7.1 - updates daily @ 11:45pm and scans @ 12:15am. Then we have Perfect Disk 6.0 setup to defrag (smart placement) at 3:00am. Machines runs smoother than before when they were not defragged.
