Changing Triangles to Quads

Hey All,

I was checking some modeling tutorials on line the other day and came across a Lightwave tutorials , I heard that Lightwave is a very good modeling application as well as good 3d software to have under someones belt in regards to work experience...

I was looking at the "Football" tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbQzwKa2IFYhttp://

and I was amazed as how quick and easy it looked to create that football,

I was wondering if there is a same tool in 3ds max to change triangles to quads automatically, check out the last section of the video where the author of the tutorial eliminates triangles changing them into quads and flips them 90 degrees at a time...

Seems very cool, is it possible to do the same thing in max ?

I do a lot of modeling and I am used to my ways but there is always room to learn new things especially if they can increase the efficiency and simplify the work flow...

thanks,

Drew

On the menu bar, click Graphite Modeling Tools icon (if it's not open already) - on the Graphite Modeling Tools Tab - Geometry (All) group title, click the little arrow next to the title - click Quadrify. Voila!

Provided you have an Editable Poly object, and not a mesh.
