Hi all,

I just finished watching the official Lumion tutorials and could not find out if it's possible to create user navigable animations with Lumion. The type of animation where the user uses keyboard or mouse to navigate in a given 3D scene.

I know Lumion allows for recording movies but they are not what I am looking for.

Tnak you very much.

Thanks a lot for the replies, guys.

Silly me- I thought that is one of Lumion's purposes. I actually knew about Unity (my colleague showed me bits and pieces of his work with Unity). As for Twinmotion- I just checked it and it looks very nice.

Thanks and bye.

If you mean that you can walk around in your (virtual) model with mouse or keyboard shortcuts, then ... yes ... of course that is possible. Normally you will setup up your complete environment in Lumion(/Pro) and when ready you can load it in Lumion Free for realtime navigation. Only problem is that you need a decent PC for viewing and currently there still is no free version of v3 .... only v2.5 !!!

I actually want to model an environment with various objects inside and then share that project with somebody else without the need for that person to have the full version of Lumion installed on their machine. I realize they might need to install a plug-in or something similar in order to view and navigate in my scene. I did something similar recently (I installed Unity web player as a plug-in) to be able to navigate in somebody's video.

That Lumion Free- is it a simple to use player or is it a stripped down version of the whole software? The full package software is rather expensive and if I am to purchase something similar I'd like to do it once :)

Thanks for sharing, guys.
