AMD HD7950 and Vray RT

Hello! I'm new here and this is my first thread! I brought a new computer and I'm receiving it by Monday. I was reading on the internet about some issues with the HD7950... I work with V-ray for about a year now but I'm a complete newbie on hardware specs. Here is the new PC:

 

i7 3770k

32gb of Ram

AMD HD7950 GPU 3gb DDR5

2tb HDD

600v font

 

Is there any way that I could use the GPU and the CPU together to render a final image?

 

Another thing is: I have read on some other treads around the internet that the V-Ray RT Shader it's not good as a final image shader, but why i have so much better results with him than with the Default Scanline Render? I'm posting two pics so you guys can see the difference. The first and most "washed" one was whit the Scanline and the second with the V-Ray RT on the ActiveShader. I might have changed some modelling stuff but the vray setup is the same for both scenes.
