Hi,

I've discover this web site and would like to know if any one knew how to do this kind of rendering (cut plan form above) http://www.plans-3d.com/plans-3D-maisons-appartements/ and the rendering of the house are really good too.

I'm looking for to find a solution in order to get this result!

Does any of you think Sketchup with a plugin could do the trick and get the same result?

Thank you for your help.

Cheers,

Loy

After searching for some plugin for Sketchup I found out that Vray could be a great option!

Does any of you have experience with it and could bring me some insight to achieve the result I want?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers.

Any software and any rendering package will do that and there really is no trick. You pretty much model and light the same as you always would. The key is when you render you set your ceiling/roof to not be visible to the camera. You still need them in your scene to block environment light so you don't simply want to just hide them.

Hi Scott,

Thank you for your answer.

I agree with you but you know like me that some rendering software have a more or less realistic final product.

And I'm looking for to find something that use Sketchup as 3d file source to not have to dig into an other program.

That why I wanted to ask if anyone new if Vray and S-up pro was able to make the work in order to have a quality result has the one I put on the link below.

The greatest rendering program in the world - Photoshop. You can get something close with some skill and some of the clipped images from this site. http://www.2dplan.com/

You can certainly use SketchUp along with a subscription to Form Fonts for furnishing. As for rendering software, it depends on your budget. There are a bunch of options in SketchUp.

The real answer is that there is no one-click solution, if that's what you are looking for.

Hi Valerostudio,

I didn't knew this software, good to know about it. Thanks'.

I know, it will be less fun if it was this easy.

I'm pretty well aware that it require time and dedication to get a great result has the one I'm looking for (as link posted before)

I just want to pick the one that will allow me to do exterior view, upper plan view, etc.. with a software I already know like sketchup.

I look at your work (great work btw) and that what I'm looking for.

Thanks again for your answer.
