isolate selection

hi guys..need help..my isolate selection box disappeared when i chngd my monitor..now wen i am opening the same file nd tryin to isolate..the dialog box is nt showin up..wat 2 do?

I don't know how to make it visible, but try Alt+Q. It's the shortcut for isolation.

Also, if you mean it is no longer in your quad menu when you right click then you can put it back using Customize User Interface.

This script will help you reset any or all of your Max windows to the 0,0 position which is the upper left of the primary monitor.

Hi,

If you are using Max 2012, yes that was one of the crazy bugs of Max 2012, all what you have to do is, click the same object and select isolate again, the window will pop and then you can un-check to show all the other mesh.

Now if you are using Max 2013, that isolation windows was replaced for a littly-bitty small reddish light bulb at the bottom of the screen, about the middle under the time line, just chick that icon and it will toggle isolation on or off.
