fadi3d
Hi There, this is giving me somewhat unexpected results (or weird ) i render in max using vray with a seperate Zdepth to add lens blurr in Ps here's the procedure:vray render then new layer Mask reveal all, copy the Z depth in Channels go to lens blurr from mask and Voila but what is driving me crazy is that the preview in Ps is showing much more blure than when i execute the lens blurr. Why is that? nb my zdepth is saved with gamma 1.0 since i work in LWF anybody who can help i'll appreciate it much. regards
Nicolai Bongard
Hey! Perhaps the vray depth pass is still active as a layer mask, that way everything that you have blurred will be transparent. If you drag the layer mask down to the garbage can icon on the bottomn of your layer list, and press "delete" on the pop up box, you should get the results you were looking for. Hope it works! Nicolai Bongard
This is the way I do it, but it might not be the only way to do it - in my experience there are usually several ways to do different things in photoshop, so someone else might do it differently. If you do not want to delete the mask, you could just invert the black/white so that the non-blurred parts of your picture becomes transparent instead. If not I am sure you could google some way to disable the transparency mask without deleting it.
fadi3d
thxs man it works exactly as u said (and by the way you could right click on the layer mask to disable it) i am a little bit wiser with photoshop now lol regards
